Functions: Review ongoing and proposed activities for all ages to maximize the utilization of county parks within West Boca. Recommend new programs.  Work with communities and/or residents regarding any problems with any of our parks.

Schools & Libraries

Functions:  Support residents on issues, ideas and concerns related to the schools and libraries within West Boca.

Programming

Functions:  Develop and promote programs for the Council’s regular monthly  community meeting and any additional public gatherings sponsored by the Council.

Membership

Arthur Charwat, Co-Chair
 

Functions:  Recruitment of new association members; retention of existing association members.  Meetings with community associations.

Communications

Sheri Scarborough, Chair

Functions: Inform the leadership and residents of member associations about matters of interest to West Boca via this website, email broadcasts and traditional mailings; encourage media coverage of Council positions and activities.

Health and Welfare

Functions: Liaison to PBC emergency operations and health department center for hurricane preparedness and other public health issues.  Obtain information to be shared with members regarding health and safety issues, including eldercare matters.

Security

Functions: Liaison to PBSO, State Attorney. Update members on crime alerts and crime prevention.
