Zoning

Functions: Monitor planning and zoning matters, development and land use petitions, and various other zoning-related community issues. Participate in public hearings on zoning matters before PBC Commissioners and advisory boards on behalf of West Boca.

Functions: Develop and promote programs for the Council’s regular monthly community meeting and any additional public gatherings sponsored by the Council.

Functions: Inform the leadership and residents of member associations about matters of interest to West Boca via this website, email broadcasts and traditional mailings; encourage media coverage of Council positions and activities.
Health and Welfare

Functions: Liaison to PBC emergency operations and health department center for hurricane preparedness and other public health issues. Obtain information to be shared with members regarding health and safety issues, including eldercare matters.
Security

Liaison to PBSO, State Attorney, Road and Bridge. Update members on crime alerts, crime prevention, and traffic concerns and solutions.
Legislation
Lou Caplan, Chair
Review proposed legislation and discuss with members. Make recommendations to elected officials for new legislation and the removal of outdated or burdensome existing legislation.
