The Grand Re-opening of the public library on Glades Road just east of 441 is set for May 21.

This facility, which used to serve all of West Boca west of the city limits, has been completely remodeled since it was shuttered in late 2008.

Its re-opening should divert much of the traffic at the newer library on 441, since it is closer to most of West Boca’s population. Even so, the county plans to double the size of the 441 library in the coming years.
